The Project

La Loteria is a personal project created to celebrate the richness and legacy of Mexican cinema. Inspired by the traditional Lotería game, I designed a series of illustrated cards based on some of my favorite Mexican films.

Each card highlights a key element, whether it’s an iconic character, a memorable object, or a symbolic detail, capturing the essence and mood of the story it represents.
This project allowed me to blend my love for illustration and film, while paying tribute to the stories and visuals that have shaped Mexico’s cultural identity.
